Island Fibers is the collaboration of Debbie Hayward and Maxine Bronstein. Our woven, knitted, and felted textiles and custom-made yarns feature wool from Lopez Island sheep. We also work with a wide variety of fibers, from alpaca to yak, handcrafting home accessories and garments made to give pleasure and use for generations. At our studio we demonstrate our entire process "from sheep to shawl.
