I am a textile artist, working primarily with hand-dyed merino wool and silk.
Each piece is unique. I use a resist-dye method and multiple dye baths for guided serendipity. Although I am chasing certain shapes, the process has an inherent - engaging - element of unpredictability.
After the dyeing is complete, I add monoprinting, hand-stitching and beadwork to bring the work into final focus.
