I love to create. It is my relentless need to create that guides me through life. I find my inspiration in the processes and perfection of the natural world. There is so much amazing art in this world but to me it all pales to the unsurpassed talents of Mother Nature. I feel it to be an honor to take a gift from nature, a well-tumbled piece of beach glass, a twisted piece of driftwood, an interesting stone or an eye-catching agate and turn it into art that someone is proud to display.

I began my creative journey at a young age. Parallel to which I was developing a fascination with minerals, crystals and glass. Like a moth to a flame I have always been drawn to light through color. It is only now that as an adult living in this wonderful place that I am able to merge the two. From the moment I moved here in 2005 I was instantly addicted to beach combing. Being from the Midwest it opened up new avenues of creativity and mediums to allow my pallet to evolve.

I am now at a place in my life where I can combine my love of travel with my love of sea glass. I travel abroad every winter seeking the finest sea glass from the most remote beaches around the world. I tell people that I am lucky, I consider myself to be a professional beach comber. All that nature and fresh air, does it get any better? Not for me.
