2024 Lopez Artist Guild Scholarship Announcement

The recipient of 2024 Shirley Wright Scholarship is Basil Pendragon. Basil is graduating from Lopez High School and will attend Western Washington University in the fall, pursuing a BFA in Art Studio.

As a child Basil sketched mythical animals and dragons, later exploring water color, acrylics and mixed media. In AP art class he created a series on the five stages of grief.  His drawings are exquisitely detailed and we applaud his talent.

Best wishes to you, Basil!
