THE SHIRLEY WRIGHT SCHOLARSHIP FOR
GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
This scholarship is given in the name of Shirley Wright, an accomplished, talented and respected Lopez artist who gave generously of her time in supporting and developing the skills of beginning artists in addition to working tirelessly within her own highly acclaimed art career.
The Lopez Artist Guild is pleased to provide a scholarship of up to $1000 to a Lopez graduating senior who will pursue studies in a visual art related field at an accredited college, university, or art school. Funds are paid directly to the school.
To apply, please fill in and submit the Shirley Wright Scholarship application form below. We ask that you also send a letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor and jpegs of three works of art. These can be mailed to Lopez Artist Guild, P.O. Box 767, Lopez Island, WA 98261 or scholarship@lopezartistguild.org. Application deadline is May 15.
