I have had a lifetime interest in art but dabbled in it intermittently until retirement allowed me more disposable time. Over the years, I have taken college art classes and participated in various workshops. Different art mediums have captured my interest at different times. Currently I am working in acrylics, but I also enjoy oils and will be using them again. I enjoy painting just about any subject, as it is the process of interpreting whatever I see that engages me. Lately, I have been obsessively focused on painting birds, spurred by a friend’s request for bird paintings.
