I live on Lopez where I have my wood turning studio. I create both wood bowls and pure art pieces. When I make a bowl, my goal is to create something that is visually appealing, feels good in the hand and is functional. When I create an art piece, I turn my lathe on and let the wood lead me to it’s finished form.

Although not functional my goal with art pieces is the same as a bowl - make it stylish and something that feels good when you touch it.
